Through 3/9, adult registration is $20, increasing to $25 after 3/9.  Students and children can register for $15 through 3/9, increasing to $20 after that.

Our charity partners for the Columbus race include Somaly Mam Foundation, Doma, Gracehaven and Compassion to Act Ohio.  You can participate on a team so your fundraising will go to one of charity partners, form your own team, or just participate as an individual.

Abolition Weekend in Columbus – July 19 & 20, 2013

Learn how YOU can make a difference right here in Central Ohio. Attend either one or both events!

On Friday July 19th, Doma will host Eat UP! – an artisan food adventure, a traveling dinner party. Each month’s Supper Club has a secret location featuring a spirited, multi-course meal, with paired drinks and lively conversation for only $50. This is a fun opportunity to experience Freedom’s finest fare–local and seasonal food, fresh out of the kitchen while networking with other local abolitionists.

On Saturday July 20th, Doma will host the 1 Day Abo U. You will hear from the leading experts on human trafficking in Ohio, prevention strategies, and innovative solutions. Breakout sessions will inform participants on how to spot a predator, how to educate our families and communities about unsafe people without instilling fear, and more. Topics include:

Supply and Demand Understanding underground red-light districts Action and Advocacy Rescue and Restoration Stories from the Frontlines Vulnerability and Recruitment Protect and Prevent in your family

Conference Fee: $49. This includes refreshments, a boxed lunch prepared by Freedom a la Cart, and childcare.
