In 2015, Free To Run Foundation launched the Free To Run Ambassador program. An FTR Ambassador is an individual that represents the Foundation and promotes the Foundation’s initiatives in their spheres of influence and within their social circles. Ambassadors periodically write blog posts for the Foundation, promote the Foundation on social media, and make appearances on behalf of the organization.

Our first Free To Run Ambassador was Juliane Accurso, a professional runner based in Eugene, Oregon. Juli is a 2014 graduate of Ohio University, where she earned First Team Academic All America honors in 2014. She also won the MAC Cross Country championship three times, and was a seven-time First Team All MAC honoree. You can read more about Juli on her Bio page.

In 2016, Annabelle Dura became Free To Run’s second Ambassador. Annabelle is a dancer, writer, model and opportunity producer. As an ambassador, she will play a role in Free To Run’s gender equality program, and expanding the reach of the Foundation beyond running.
