Our New Ambassador!
October 3, 2016 3 Comments
We are excited to announce a new ambassador has come on board to support Free To Run’s mission of raising awareness of human trafficking and other injustices, and to inspire hope and advocate for change. Annabelle Dura is a dancer, writer, model and opportunity producer, who currently splits her time between Texas and New York City. She has received numerous awards for various writings, and in 2016, she published her first book, Into the Darkness, a workbook for trauma survivors.
Annabelle will be heavily involved in Free To Run’s Gender Equality focus area, in addition to expanding our target audience beyond runners and endurance athletes. Our organization was founded on the premise that a person can use whatever talent or passion they have to make a difference. As our name indicates, the roots of our existence are connected to running, but visual and performing arts can be a highly effective medium for raising awareness and inspiring action. We are excited to have Annabelle join Free To Run as our first “non-running” ambassador!
