Our Mission
Free To Run Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to advancing human rights, raising awareness of human trafficking, and supporting initiatives that empower individuals and communities.Through educational initiatives, youth leadership, community events, and charitable programs, we have worked to promote a world where every person can live with freedom, dignity, and opportunity.

Balance BoxesBalance Boxes is an active program of Free To Run Foundation that provides children with educational resources, activities, and supplies designed to encourage learning, creativity, and personal growth.Through Balance Boxes, we seek to help children access meaningful educational opportunities and resources that support their development.Learn more about Balance Boxes at https://www.balanceboxes.org.World Race for HopeThe first New Year's Day 5k in Troy took place in 2008. The World Race for Hope began in 2012 after the race was rebranded. It became a signature event of Free To Run Foundation, and at one point races took place in Troy, Columbus, Ohio and New York City, bringing people together through running and charitable action while raising awareness of human trafficking.The race is now organized by Waste-Free Dayton, continuing its community tradition under new leadership.Visit Waste-Free Dayton for current race information, registration, and upcoming events.https://wastefreedayton.orgOur LegacyElla Bogan Memorial FundThe Ella Bogan Memorial Fund was established to honor Ella Bogan's legacy through charitable initiatives supporting women, girls, and children.Although the fund is no longer active, its history remains part of Free To Run Foundation's commitment to opportunity, empowerment, and community service.Teens Stand Against TraffickingTeens Stand Against Trafficking engaged young people in raising awareness of human trafficking and promoting human rights. Through youth leadership and community education, the initiative encouraged students to become advocates for a world free from exploitation.Team G(race)Team G(race) united running, community, and charitable giving.
