13th Annual World Race for Hope 5k, January 1, 2020

Our annual New Year's Day 5k in Troy is back for its 13th year. Like the 2019 edition, the charity run/walk event to kick off National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month will start and end on the river levee by the gazebo in Troy. Once again, it's also a no frills, free 5k, with any donations going towards the fight against human trafficking in the Dayton area. Although registration for the 5k is free, you can still choose to buy a commemorative shirt for $15, which comes from Freeset USA, a company that employs survivors of sex trafficking in Kolkata, India. To get a shirt, you must register by November 30th. We will have some extra shirts available for purchase at the race.

Note: if you're not able to make it to Troy on New Year's Day, or if you live out of the area, you can still start off the year on the right foot and support the cause by doing the virtual 5k.
